Episode 3 - Part One
The SG1 is on mission on a planet. The natives are very good in smithering and their temples and buildings are all made of metal.
Inside the main temple natives worship a strange artifact fallen from the sky.
Sam Carter and Daniel Jackson are authorized to stay on the planet and study the artifact, that oddly looks as an escape pod, while O'Neill e Teal'c go back to Earth.
Sam and Daniel examine the item and find an opening device.
Three replicators come out of the pod and attack them!
Sam and Daniel run away...
...but the replicators begin eating the temple!
Replicators grow out in number...
...while Sam, Daniel and the natives can only watch while the temple is destroyed!
Soon, nothing is left of the temple...
And replicators begin to spread across the planet in search for other metal.
Sam, Daniel and the natives gather near the stargate, but they can't open it: if replicators should arrive on Earth, it would be terrible!
After a few hours the gate is opened from Earth: General Hammond wants to know why Sam and Daniel didn't contact him.
At last Samantha Carter and Daniel Jackson can explain what happened and ask for help: if the replicators won't be killed soon, the planet would be destroyed!
